Meet Enzo!
anyone that knows me, knows about enzo
There are a few things in my life that I’m sure I did right ~ Enzo is one of them. I was fortunate enough to find the DoVE Project through a colleague of mine. She had brought a Jindo puppy to one of our marketing meetings (Christine, yes I’m talking about you). As the puppy slept through our meeting, completely aloof to everyone else in the room & completely under the conference table, I knew I’d want to do more research on the Jindo breed
The more I researched, the more I was intrigued. I kept up with their adoption events and watched all their IG stories until I found Enzo (fka Buddy). There was something about his unproportionateness that made me fall instantly in love with him.
John and I picked him up at a PetSmart in El Segundo and we’ve been a pack ever since!

Ending the dog meat trade
Through the DoVE Project, we learned that the dog meat trade was still very apparent in numerous Asian countries. This organization worked specifically with South Korea; its key focus was to advocate, educate, and rescue as many dogs from their inhuman conditions.
Thankfully, South Korea’s national assembly recently passed legislation, ultimately banning the breeding, slaughter and sale of dogs for human consumption, as well as prohibiting the distribution and sale of dog meat.
